Hello and welcome!
This document explains how to install the Resell Titan theme.
The Resell Titan Software is a WordPress theme.
This means you will need to install WordPress on your website/domain name first.
So you will need to get a domain name (yourname.com), with a webhost and WordPress installed before proceeding.
You can read a simple guide to installing WordPress here (by Hostgator).
Once you have a website with WordPress installed, you are ready to proceed...
So please now continue reading this detailed summary of how to setup your theme.
However, before reading, please quickly review these 4 points...
#1 - Common Problems
Here are some common errors and how to easily fix them.
Q: I am trying to upload the theme as a plugin and I get an error.
A: This is a theme, not a plugin. Please install as a theme, not a plugin.
Q: I get an error like "theme is missing the style.css stylesheet" when I try to import/install theme theme zip file.
A: You are uploading the wrong file. Basically you are uploading the resell.zip. What you need to do is unzip/extract the resell.zip and it will contain a go.zip file. It is the go.zip file that you need to upload, not the resell.zip file.
Q: I get a "Fatal error" when trying to install the theme?
A: Your server is not running a new version of PHP. Please update to PHP version 5.6 or newer (you may need to reach out to your host to do this - if so create a quick support ticket "Please upgrade my server to PHP 5.6 or above" and they will do this quickly for you).
#2 - Overview of the steps
This document discusses the 3 basic steps to install the WordPress theme...
1) Firstly, install the theme.
2)
Second, import pre-loaded content (so you get a "done for you" store which you can customize).
3)
Third, configure the theme (for example, editing the "navigation bar", the logo etc).
Each of these points are discussed below...
#3 - Zoom In On Images
The images shown below can be quite small and "fuzzy".
If you want to get a closer look at any image, right click and "view image" to see the full size image.
Alternatively, you can also download a zip file of ALL the images here - click here to download all the images on this page, (it might be helpful to do this, and quickly skip through the images to get an idea of what the process is).

#4 Once you're done - Using the theme - demo video
Once you have followed all the steps below (so you theme is installed, content imported, and theme configured), you will want to know how to actually use the theme (add products, etc).

After installing wordpress in your sever
Theme Installation:
After downloading resell.zip -> Extract resell.zip
>>>> IMPORTANT:
>>>>
YOU MUST EXTRACT / UNZIP RESELL.ZIP
AND THEN
UPLOAD GO.ZIP
<<<<
DO NOT JUST UPLOAD RESELL.ZIP!
THE FILE "GO.ZIP" CONTAINS THE THEME -- NOT RESELL.ZIP
You will get this file:
Go.zip : This is your theme <<<IMPORTANT
README : There a Video Tutorial link
resellertitan.wordpress.2018-05-04.xml : This is a demo content file<<<IMPORTANT
Now go to your
wordpress backend to install theme:
Under Appearance -> Themes
ii) Click Add New in Themes page -> then click Upload Theme -> Click Choose File -> then upload Go.zip file (Go.zip is your theme file) -> then click Install Now to install theme
Note: you can see uploading percent here (Now wait until its uploaded)
After theme is install -> click Activate to activate the theme
Demo Content Installation
Install Demo Content:
Go to wordpress backend
Under Tools -> click Import
Scroll down click Install Now -> under Wordpress -> click Run Importer
Then choose resellertitan.wordpress.2018-05-04.xml to import demo content -> click Upload file and import
Then click your username under select -> and check Download and import file attachments -> click Submit
When you see this message (All done. Have fun!) that mean your demo content is uploaded
Theme
Configuration
Assign Home page :
Under Setting click Reading
In Reading Settings page -> check A static page (select below) -> then beside Home Page select Home Page under dropdown -> click Save Change
Assigning Menu:
Under Appearance -> click Menus
Select Main Menu -> Click select
Check Primary Menu -> click Save Change
Now go to the front end of your site you can see the menu
To Remove or Edit Top Bar
Under Appearance -> click Customize
In Customize page -> click Theme Header
Remove Top Bar : just uncheck Show Top Bar (By default it is checked) -> click Published
Edit Top Bar: if Show Top Bar is not checked click to check -> Edit content here -> click Publish
Remove Breadcrumb:
In Customize -> click Breadcrumb
Checked or Unchecked Show Breadcrumb -> click Publish
Show or hide Page title from inner page:
In customize page -> click Show Page Title?
Checked or Unchecked Page Title -> click Publish
Remove Top Footer & change Copyright Background color and text color :
In customize page -> click Footer
Select No Footer under Footer Layout to remove top Footer
Change Copyright Background color and text color -> click publish
Then refresh the page:
Change the email id from contact us page:
Go to wordpress backend -> click Dashboard
In Dashboard page scroll down in CONTACT DETAILS section -> change add your email id -> click Save Change
Then refresh the page your email id will be updated
